Roar
Do you walk through life saying “sorry” all the time?
Are you constantly asking permission?
Do you think there’s a “right” and “wrong” way to do things?
How’s this working out for you?
I was brought up to think for yourself and stand tall in your beliefs. Your ideas and opinions matter and are valid. If for no one else, they certainly apply for you. Quit walking through life begging to be noticed, validated, and appreciated. If you won’t do these things for yourself, then others certainly won’t do it for you.
I’m a believer in standing tall for yourself, knowing you matter, and that your opinions are just as valid as anyone else’s. Begin to realize your power and worthiness and share your gifts with the rest of the world. When you hide in the background you not only short-change yourself, you short-change all those you come in contact with. We live in a dynamic and flourishing world that is constantly evolving. Your talents and abilities are needed and essential. Take your gifts and add to the great tapestry of life that is being constantly weaved.
Have the courage to be the best version of you in every moment. Be authentic, powerful, and loving. There will be those who agree with you and welcome your input. And there will be those who don’t care for your thoughts and will try to put you down. No worries – begin spending more time with those who support the authentic you and the others will begin falling away. When you try to be everything to everyone you end up being nothing. You lose their respect.
Start your day do with the intention of making it wonderful day of sharing your talents and input with those you meet. As your authenticity and personal power increase you’ll notice a shift in who your friends are, how you’re perceived, and your influence will grow. All from just being you.
Just as a piece of music requires many different notes, our lives are increased by having different inputs and opinions. Sing your song and spread your love to those you encounter.
Let me know how this works out for you. I’m confident you’ll live a far greater life and have a lot more fun in the process.
Isn’t this what it’s all about anyway?
